Easy Tender Simmered Pork

Pork blocks were on sale so I made simmered pork in a pressure cooker.
I didn't tie the pork with twine, parboil, marinate, or brown it beforehand. I did none of those things, and I still got tender, delicious simmered pork with no problems.
Please adjust the simmering time depending on your pressure cooker! I use a brand called Katsuryoku-gama from Asahi Kasei. Recipe by Youkorin

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make as many hard-boiled eggs as you would like to serve with the pork.
- 2
Put the block of pork and the ※ ingredients into a pressure cooker and bring up to pressure. Cook under pressure for 15 minutes!
- 3
Bring the pressure down, add the boiled eggs and simmer to reduce the sauce. Leave to cool.
- 4
When the pork has cooled down, slice it, transfer on a serving plate with the boiled eggs and serve!
- 5
Simmer coarsely chopped pork and sliced onion in the leftover cooking liquid and pour over rice to make a pork rice bowl!
- 6
Use the leftover broth from the butadon from step 5, to make shiro-ae (a tofu dish), and julienned burdock root to make "kinpira"!

Easy Moist & Tender Simmered & Roasted Pork Easy Moist & Tender Simmered & Roasted Pork
My family usually makes boiled pork, but I modified the recipe to make roast pork. Since the pork is only simmered for a short time, it remains tender. You can replace the sugar with a little honey if you'd prefer. You can use pork that's already tied in a net as it is if that's easier than binding it yourself. This recipe will be easier if you unbind the meat just before marinating. For Step 1, please simmer the pork with the lid on and use as thick a pan as possible. For Step 2, it's OK if the juices aren't completely cooled, but please let it sit for at least 3 hours. By letting the meat sit until it has cooled, you get more flavor. When you are marinating the meat in Step 2, remove the air from the bag and tightly seal it shut. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

For Ramen! Tender Simmered Pork For Ramen! Tender Simmered Pork
I made this simmered pork topping at the same time as I was making ramen. I didn't think that it would become this tender. It was so tender that when I was eating my ramen and grabbed the pork with my chopsticks, it fell right apart.I ate it with salty ramen this time so I didn't add any flavors, and it was plenty delicious. The least I can say is that when you're simmering the meat, don't let it come to a boil. Also, rubbing it with salt in the beginning releases flavor and increases the taste. If you simmer this in a soy sauce dashi, it will become very similar to a professional ramen shop's taste.
