First start by washing and cutting the cat fish, you can use 🍋 lemon to get rid of the slimy stuff. Then strain and set aside. In a pot add in some oil then add in ginger, garlic 🧄 cloves and black pepper paste. Stir and shallow fry then add in the cat fish and slightly fry on low heat and turn gently to avoid breakage let the herbs 🌿 penetrate into the fish then add in water to cover the fish.

Then add the grinded scotch and bell peppers together with the onions 🧅. Add in salt, seasoning cubes, red onga, pepper soup spice, curry and thyme and any other spices or herbs of choice like cinnamon, oregano e.t.c then cover and allow to cook. Until the fish soften and water reduce then off heat allow to cook and serve!
