Ham and Cheese Rollups For Bentos

I used to make this for my daughter's bento when she was in kindergarten.
If the cheese splits while rolling, take it out of the refrigerator in advance. It will roll up better if it's soft. For 1 roll. Recipe by Rearea cheese

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put the cheese on top of the ham, and roll it up.
- 2
Wrap in plastic wrap, leave for about 5 minutes and it's done!
- 3
User "Repipaku" reminded me that the cheese should be at room temperature before rolling. I forgot but I've added it to the recipe now!
- 4
Yayoi-chan passed on a tip to microwave the ham and cheese for 10 seconds, to stick them together securely!
- 5
Nekozame-chan made a triple layered version with ham, cheese and ham. This is cute too!

Japanese-style Meat Rolls with Fish Sausage - For Bentos Japanese-style Meat Rolls with Fish Sausage - For Bentos
I came up with this for a recipe contest.- Cut to a size that fits your bento boxes. I used pork slices that were left over from when I made shabu-shabu.- Very thinly sliced meat for shabu-shabu is best because it's easy to roll and keeps its shape.- When you add the flavourings, cook quickly on medium-strong to strong heat. The meat should ideallybe just a bit charred.- For the shiro-dashi, you can use stock granules dissolved in hot water. Recipe by Makitoin cookpad.japan -

I wanted to think up a bento item that used hanpen. When pan frying the hanpen sandwich, press down on it lightly with a spatula.
