I used to make this for my daughter's bento when she was in kindergarten.

If the cheese splits while rolling, take it out of the refrigerator in advance. It will roll up better if it's soft. For 1 roll. Recipe by Rearea cheese

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 sliceHam
  2. 1 sliceSliced cheese (melting or non-melting type)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put the cheese on top of the ham, and roll it up.

  2. 2

Wrap in plastic wrap, leave for about 5 minutes and it's done!

  3. 3

User "Repipaku" reminded me that the cheese should be at room temperature before rolling. I forgot but I've added it to the recipe now!

  4. 4

Yayoi-chan passed on a tip to microwave the ham and cheese for 10 seconds, to stick them together securely!

  5. 5

Nekozame-chan made a triple layered version with ham, cheese and ham. This is cute too!

  6. 6

Accelerate-chan made a triple-layer version too. I really love seeing everyone's great ideas! So cute.

  7. 7

    I edited the photo.

  8. 8

mimoarx-chan tried a shiso leaf version. The colors are so pretty, and it looks delicious!
