Wash and peel the nenua and cut into 3-4 pieces. Remove the top and bottom side. Slit the pieces into middle as shown in above pic.

In a mixing bowl add all powder spices, salt and curd.mix well.Open up the slit of each turai slightly and stuffed with little amount of the prepared masala. And the remaining masala is keep for later use in the gravy

Stuffed all pieces of turai.
Heat oil in a pan or kadhai add cumin seeds and asafoetida, saute 10 seconds, add finely chopped onion and cooked for 3-4 minutes. - 4
When onion turn light golden add chopped tomatoes and add 1/2tsp salt. Mix it Cover and cook till the tomatoes turn soft and mushy

Now add 1/4tsp turmeric powder and kashmiri red Chilli powder and chiili powder. Mix and cook for a minute. Add the remaining marination masala.mix it well.

Keep stirring and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. Then add turai pieces mix that it coated well with spices.

Add 1/4 cup water, cover and cook about 7-8 minutes on medium flame. Now it cook well

Cook it openly on high flame for 2 minutes.keep stirring then turn off the flame. Serve with roti or paratha.
