Lasagna has been a family favorite for a long time, specifically for individuals who are limited in their cooking time or abilities. This recipe is guaranteed to taste delicious and satisfy your cravings. The best part about it is that it contains no meat yet everyone loves it !

(*) Adding 1/2 pack of Gardein plant-based ground be'f instead of the whole pack will make the sauce less thick and the lasagna more juicy. Recommended for people who prefer it that way.

Vegetarian Lasagna

Ingredients

40-50 minutes
6-8 servings
  1. 15-18Lasagna noodles
  2. 2 cupsricotta cheese
  3. 1/4 cupchopped fresh parsley
  4. 3.5 cupsshredded mozzarella cheese
  5. 1/4 cupparmesan cheese
  6. 24 ozmarinara sauce
  7. 1 packGardein plant-based ground be'f
  8. 2 Tbsolive oil
  9. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  10. 1/2 tspsalt

Cooking Instructions

40-50 minutes

    Assemble ingredients and preheat oven to 375°F

  2. 2

    Bring a pot of water and 1 tbsp of salt to boil and cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions

    Meanwhile, add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a pot and add 1 pack of Gardein plant-based ground be'f (*) Mix well and add 24 oz of marinara sauce. Let it cook covered until the sauce mixture boils.

    As noodles and sauce are cooking, mix 2 cups of ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, 1.5 cups of mozzarella cheese, 1/4 parsley, and 1/4 tbsp of salt and pepper in a bowl. Set aside

    Coat a 9 x 13 inch pan with olive oil and pour 1 cup of sauce as a base

  6. 6

    Add 5 lasagna noodles, then 1 cup of sauce and top it with 1/2 cup of ricotta mixture. Repeat for 2 more layers.

    Top it off with more sauce and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.

    Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

    Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes.

    Let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
