Salsa verde tostadas in the slow cooker

Ingredients

  1. 3plump chicken breast
  2. jarsalsa verde (I used Herdez) 1 (16 oz)
  3. 1 canblack beans or re fried beans
  4. Tostada shells
  5. Salt & pepper to taste
  6. 1/2 tspcumin
  7. Toppings
  8. 2avocados, sliced
  9. Queso fresco
  10. Fresh cilantro

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Place chicken in crock pot. Place salt, pepper & cumin onto breasts. Pour salsa all over, use a spatula to make sure it’s covered. Place on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Shred chicken (I used 2 forks). When there’s about 15 minutes left, warm up your beans.

    Assemble: Tostada shell, beans, chicken, queso fresco, cilantro & avocado. Enjoy!
