I combined my favorite ingredients and tried making some onigiri rice balls.
I recommend using a block of cheese.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 3bowls Hot cooked rice
  2. 4Shiso leaves
  3. 1Edamame
  4. 1Shio-kombu
  5. 50 gramsCheese
  6. 1 tbspGreen onion (finely chopped)
  7. 2 tspGround white sesame seeds
  8. 1 tbspSesame oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Finely chop the shiso and the green onion. Dice the cheese.

  2. 2

    Add sesame oil to the rice and lightly stir it in.

  3. 3

    Add the edamame, shiso, cheese, green onion, and ground sesame. Mix together and then form into small balls.
