Mild Yakitori Sauce (Not Too Spicy)

A yakitori sauce that's mild enough for kids! That's the idea. Thank you for helping this recipe reach the top 10 in popular searches! Background: My daughter loves yakitori, but regular yakitori sauce is too spicy for a 4-year-old. So, I'm working on a sauce that's not spicy, but still satisfying for adults.
