To be honest, this is a super simple recipe, but the aroma of sesame oil makes this a delicious miso soup you can really enjoy.

Wash the vegetables. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and julienne the carrot. Drain well.

Pour the water into a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the vegetables and frozen dumplings.

When everything is cooked through, reduce the heat to low. Add the bonito soup stock granules and dissolve the miso paste. Then turn off the heat.

Drizzle in the sesame oil and give it a quick stir. Serve in bowls and sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
