While on a low-carb diet, I wanted a low-GI staple food and heard quinoa was a good choice.
Cooking Instructions

Put the quinoa and water in a pot. (Depending on the brand, you may need to rinse it 2-3 times)

Once it boils, add 1 tablespoon of cooking sake, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let it cool. It's ready to serve! Enjoy it with curry, omelets, or as a rice substitute.
