Cooking Instructions

Coat the pork for tonkatsu with breading (in the order of flour → beaten egg → breadcrumbs).

Fry in oil until crispy and golden brown, then cut into appropriate sizes.

Slice the onion into 1/4 inch (5mm) widths. Cut the green onions into about 1 1/4 inch (3cm) pieces.

Combine the ★ seasonings in a pot and heat.

Once boiling, add the onion and simmer for about 2 minutes.

Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly mix until just combined.

Heat the broth in the pot, and just before it boils, arrange the tonkatsu, pour in the eggs, scatter the green onions, cover, and wait for 1 minute. Adjust the egg's firmness to your liking!

Serve over warm rice and it's ready to enjoy!
