  2. 2boneless chicken thighs
  3. 4-6 clovesgarlic
  4. 3-5 slicesfresh ginger
  5. 1scallion
  6. 1large handful Thai basil
  7. 1chili pepper
  8. Sauce:
  9. 1 tablespoonsugar
  10. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce paste
  11. 2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  12. as neededRice wine,

Steps

  1. 1

    Add enough sesame oil to a pan and sauté the ginger slices until fragrant, then add the garlic.

    Add the chopped chicken thighs and cook until lightly golden.

    Add the sauce, scallion pieces, and chili pepper. Cover and simmer.

    Turn the heat to high and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken. Add the Thai basil and stir-fry until evenly mixed.
