Steps

Whisk curd with salt and sugar. To this add cooked rice. Mix well and keep aside.

In a pan add coconut oil. Add mustard seed. After mustard seed splutter add cumin seeds, finely chopped green chillies ginger curry leaves, red chilli, black pepper powder, chana dal, urad dal pinch of asfoetida.

Add this tempering to curd rice. Mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.

Tastes best with tender mango pickle.
