Barnyard millet urad dal khichdi

Take a mixing bowl, add millet & dal, mix it well. Wash it, soak in water for 1/2 hr, strain it, keep aside.

Take a pressure cooker, add mixed khichdi, hing, salt & ghee, add 3 cup water, place the lid, give 5 whistles on high flame, turn off the flame.

Allow it to depressurise naturally, open the lid after 5 minutes, take out in a bowl, keep aside.

Now take a wok or pan, add ghee, heat it. In goes hing, dry red chilli & zeera, let it splutter.

Add in onion & green chilli, stir fry it until brown, in goes red chilli flakes, mix it well.

Now add cooked khichdi, mix it well, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

Add in dhania patta, mix it well, cook it for a minute.

Turn off the flame, take out in a serving bowl, pair it with raita, salad, papad or chutney...
