Gnocchi with Peas and Pumpkin

Cut a slice of pumpkin and, with the skin and seeds still on, cook it in the microwave at 750W for 8 minutes.
Bring a pot of water to a boil for the gnocchi.

Once the pumpkin is cooked, use a spoon to remove the seeds and scoop out the flesh.
Add the pumpkin flesh to a skillet with salt, pepper, a tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil, and the peas.
Add a ladle of the gnocchi cooking water to the pan.
Cook until the peas are tender and the pumpkin has broken down completely.

Once the gnocchi are cooked, add them to the sauce.
Stir well to combine all the ingredients, then serve.
