#newyear2025 I vow to waste less. I have a habit of buying ingredients to make something and then don’t get to make it and then ingredients expire and get tossed. I found this recipe 2 years ago I assume online. My ingredients are good so this recipe gets it day!

Ingredients

45-60 minutes cool 20 minutes
12-24 slices
  1. 2 cupsall-purpose flour
  2. 2 cupsgranulated sugar
  3. 3/4cocoa powder sifted
  4. 2 teaspoonsbaking soda
  5. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonkosher salt
  7. 2large eggs room temperature
  8. 1/2 cupsour cream room temperature
  9. 1 cupkahlua (can substitute with strong coffee or espresso)
  10. 3/4 cupcanola oil
  11. 2 teaspoonsvanilla extract
  12. 2 cupschocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

45-60 minutes cool 20 minutes

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 10-12 cup Bundt pan with baking spray.

    In a large bowl whisk together flour,sugar,cocoa powder,baking soda, baking powder and salt.

    In another large bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together egg, and sour cream until combined. Add kahlua,canola oil, and vanilla blend well.

    Add flour mixture slowly and mix on low speed until combined. Fold in chocolate chips by hand with a spatula.

    Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake 45-60 minutes or until cake tester inserted near center comes out clean.

    Let cake cool for 15-20 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool completely, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
