Ingredients

10 minutes, prep time 15 minutes

  1. 4bread slices
  2. 1 cupbesan
  3. 2 tsprice flour
  4. 4 tspchopped onion
  5. 4 tspchopped carrot
  6. 4 tspchopped tomato
  7. 1 tspchopped green capsicum
  8. 1 tspchopped red bell pepper
  9. 1 tspchopped yellow bell pepper
  10. 2 tspchopped coriander
  11. 1/2 tspjeera
  12. 1 tspginger chilli paste
  13. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1/4 tsphing
  15. 1 tspred chilli powder
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Chaat masala to sprinkle (optional)
  18. Oil to shallow fry chilla bread

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes, prep time 15 minutes

    Chop all veggies. First, cut the edges and 4 square pieces to each slice of bread.

    In a mixing bowl, add all veggies, besan, and rice flour, and dry ingredients. Mix well. Add water gradually to make chilla batter.

    Heat a tawa. Apply oil. Dip square pieces of bread in chila batter. Put on tawa, shallow fry on both of bread.

    Drizzle oil as required. Fry on a low to medium flame. Make all bread chilla in the same way.

    Sprinkle chaat masala. Serve and enjoy with green chutney..
