Ingredients

Prep time -15 mins, Cooking time -20 mins
4-5 servings
  1. Echor Doibora
  2. 1medium size Echor
  3. 1/4 cupMoong Dal
  4. 1 Tbspginger paste
  5. 1 Tbspcoriander paste
  6. 1/8 tspsalt
  7. 1 tspsugar
  8. 5-6 Tbspoil to fry Bora
  9. Doi
  10. 1 cupDoi
  11. 1 tspginger paste
  12. 1 tspcumin paste
  13. 1 tspred chilli powder
  14. 5-6 Tbspghee
  15. 1/8 tspsalt
  16. 1/2 cupwater
  17. Garnish with garam masala powder

Steps

Prep time -15 mins, Cooking time -20 mins
  1. 1

    Grease your palm, peel the Echor and cut the Echor into pieces, in a wok boil water and add Echor pieces, boil and set aside, cool and mash. Soak moong dal

  2. 2

    In a blender add Echor mash, moong dal, ginger paste, coriander paste and blend smooth

    Add salt and sugar and mix. Make small balls and in a wok heat oil and fry, set aside

    In a wok heat oil, add cumin paste and ginger paste, chilli powder and mix well. Add beaten yogurt and add the Bora, mix well. Add a little water and mix

    Let the bora soak well in the Doi and after 2-3 mins, add garam masala powder and set aside
