Ingredients

  • 3Bitter gourd
  • 3 table spoongram flour
  • 2 tablespoonrice flour
  • 1 table spooncorn flour
  • 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonamchur powder
  • 1 teaspoonginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1big onion
  • Curry leaves
  • 250 mlgroundnut oil

Steps

    Collect fresh bitter gourd. Wash thoroughly with plain water.Cut off both sides, then cut into thin, round slice

    Remove the seeds, then tranfer to a big bowl, add salt and mix well. Keep it for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the water to remove the bitterness.

    Take another bowl add rice flour, gram flour,maida, ginger garlic paste,masala powders and salt.

    Add little water, mix well.Add the bitter gourd rings, mix well to coat into bitter gourd slices. Keep it for 15 minutes.

    Keep a kadai on heat. Once the oil becomes hot enough, add the bitter gourd pieces one by one.When it turns golden brown, remove and drain it in to a kitchen towel.

    Tranfer the chips into a serving plate. Keep little hot oil in kadai, add thin sliced onion and curry leaves, fry nicely. Sprinkle and garnish on the bitter gourd chips.

    Crispy and tasty bitter gourd chips is ready to serve. Enjoy with any variety rice, rasam rice and curd rice.

Thank you so much I will surely try this. I made before but I didn't add flours in it that's why they are not crispy. I learnt my mistake and I will do better now
