Chingri patol Dorma is a popular Bengali cuisine where the patol/ pointed gourd is stuffed with chingri/ prawn masala & then deep fried & placed in a spicy gravy.
Steps

Take a large size pointed gourd/ patol, scrap lightly to remove the skin.Now cut the head of the patol/ parwal
- 2
Take out the pulp along with seeds with a spoon.Repeat the same process for other pointed gourds.

In a blender add the pulps, seeds, cashew nuts,green chillies & make them a fine paste.

Smash the boiled potatoes, add salt, the pulp,seeds paste to it & mix them properly.

For stuffing- Add 1 tbsp mustard oil to a kadai & heat it.Add the chopped onions, fry them for 1,2 minutes.

Add the prawns & saute for a minute.Then add 1 tsp cumin, coriander powder,salt,turmeric powder, the potato,pulp paste mixture & fry them.

Add the chopped cashew & raisins.Take them out & let them slightly cool.

Heat oil in a kadai, fry the pointed gourd & stuff it with the filling.

In the same oil add cumin seeds, green cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks.

Then add chopped tomatoes, kashmiri red chilli powder, ginger, garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, & saute them properly.

Fry with little lukewarm water until raw smells are gone.Now add the stuffed fried patol/parwal.

Mix them well & then switch off the flame.

Patol er dorma is ready to eat.Transfer them on a serving plate.

Serve this delicious chingri patol er dorma/ stuffed pointed gourd with prawn with hot rice,phulkas.
