Slice the onion into thin strips. Add a drizzle of olive oil to a nonstick skillet with the onion and cook until softened, about 5–6 minutes over medium heat, stirring often.

Once the onion is ready, remove it from the skillet and set aside.

Add a little more olive oil to the skillet if needed, along with the garlic clove, and heat. Dredge the beef strips lightly in flour.

Add the beef strips to the skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning them often.

When the beef is cooked, lower the heat. Season with salt, add the onions and parsley, and deglaze with the white wine.

Once the alcohol from the wine has evaporated, the beef strips are ready to serve. Enjoy while still hot.
