Quick Banana Fritters (Easy to Make, Great for Selling)

Namwa bananas are now quite affordable and commonly grown in many backyards. Sometimes, you can't eat them all before they become overripe. Instead of letting them go to waste, turn them into banana fritters to enjoy with your family on weekends, or even start selling them as a business. Let's see how to make them.
Tips:
- Keep the frying oil at a steady temperature—not too hot or too cool.
- Squeeze the grated coconut to remove the coconut milk before using, so the fritters stay crispy and don't absorb too much oil.
- Add pandan leaves near the end of frying for extra fragrance.
- Use bananas that are not overly ripe to prevent them from becoming mushy.

Steps
- 1
Pour 2 1/2 cups banana fritter flour mix (about 350 grams) into a mixing bowl.
- 2
Add the granulated sugar and salt to the bowl.
- 3
Squeeze the grated coconut to remove the coconut milk, then add the coconut pulp to the bowl.
- 4
Add the white sesame seeds.
- 5
Mix all the ingredients together, gradually adding water while stirring. The batter should not be too thick or too runny.
- 6
Cut pandan leaves into pieces and set aside.
- 7
Prepare the bananas by peeling and slicing them into thirds lengthwise.
- 8
Coat the banana slices evenly in the batter.
- 9
Heat a pan over medium heat. Test the oil temperature by dropping a bit of batter into the oil. When ready, fry the bananas, turning them until golden and crispy.
- 10
When the fritters are almost golden, add the pandan leaves for extra aroma.
- 11
Drain the fritters on a rack to remove excess oil, then arrange on a plate to serve.
