Crunchy Tapioca Potato Tikki for Vrat

Peel and mash boiled potatoes in a mixing bowl. Peel and grate ginger.

Clean 1/2 bowls tapioca pearls in a kitchen towel and remove its powder and clean thoroughly and transfer to a grinder and grind to a fine powder. Soak other half in water for 2 hours and then remove water and strain completely.

Dry roast peanuts in a wok. Remove its skin and coarsely grind in a mixer on pulse mode

Add sago powder and soaked strained sago pears in mashed potatoes. Add chopped coriander leaves, grated ginger, grinded peanuts, salt, black pepper and green chilli and mix it well and make a dough.

Take a portion of dough and make a lemon size ball. Press to these balls between your palms and make flat and shape round tikki. Likewise make all the tikkis.

Heat pure ghee in a wok and deep fry tikkis from both sides till golden brown colour.

Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
