For White Dough: In maida add ghee and other ingredients and mix well to form a crumbly texture. Adding warm milk, knead a medium stiff dough.

Rest the dough for 30 minutes.

For Yellow Dough: In maida add ghee and other ingredients and knead a medium stiff dough. Rest dough for 30 minutes.

Knead the rested doughs and make portions. Roll out one portion thinly and cut off the segments and form a square sheet.

Roast the sheet lightly on slow gas, on a tawa. Do not allow roasted marks on the sheet. Cool and give cuts, keeping the edges intact.

Gently drop into medium hot oil and fry crispy on both sides.

Take out,drain extra oil and separate the strips.

Similarly make all the yellow and white strips. Sprinkle chat masala, if desired on the strips. I have not so that the strips can be combined with any dip or tea or cold drink etc. Enjoy easy party snack.
