Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 3 1/2 oz (100 g)cooked basmati rice
  2. 1 oz (30 g)chopped green garlic
  3. 1 teaspoonginger-chili paste
  4. 1 1/2 oz (40 g)green peas
  5. 1/3 oz (10 g)cashews
  6. 1/3 oz (10 g)raisins
  7. 1 tablespoonbutter
  8. 1 tablespoonoil
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 2cloves
  11. 1small piece cinnamon stick
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tablespoonchopped cilantro

    Rinse the rice and soak it in water. In a pan, add salt, rice, and green peas, then cook until done.

    Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add the bay leaf, cloves, and cinnamon stick, and sauté.

    Add the cashews and raisins, and sauté until lightly golden.

    Add the green garlic and ginger-chili paste, and sauté for 1 minute.

    Add the cooked rice and green peas, season with salt, and mix well.
