Homemade Beans Homemade Beans
Growing up I remember my mom would always have homemade beans ready, for breakfast, or lunch or dinner. There was always some ready. My mom would freeze her beans also to have them ready for a fast meal. She showed me how to make these growing up so I could pass down the recipe to my kids one day.selina1figueroa

Cowboy beans Cowboy beans
Well, this is technically the 4th meal with the steak and 2nd for the pork butt. Over the Easter holiday we had a cook out. My husband used the last of the sirloin to make his baked beans. I wish he’d give me the recipe lol my daughter took some pork butt and the rest went into the pot with the leftover beans. Very hearty and very delicious. Something easy to throw together in a couple of minutes when you have a Fridge full of leftovers. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Vegetable Stew Vegetable Stew
I used my left over vegetables . One egg plant was gone half bad, used my frozen tomatoes , and add a can of black beans. You can use any can of legumes ( chickpeas , white beans, but lentils would not be a good idea, )if you don’t want to use oven you can use same pot to cook if you are too lazy or have no time. . I think putting then to oven make taste better. Rae -

My Dad loved beans with every meal, so I cannot eat them without thinking of him and "home". You may use this recipe with any kind of beans. Navy beans or pinto beans are good made with ham too and I would not add lemon pepper to pinto beans. sandra53 -
