Steps

Mix sooji, sugar powder, wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, combine curd, fresh malai, and oil. Mix well.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Gradually add milk to make a cake batter.

Grease mini moulds and fill halfway with batter.

Bake in a preheated kadai for 20–25 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.

For syrup, boil sugar and water with saffron and cardamom powder until slightly thick.

Pour warm syrup over baked mini cakes. Top with dry fruit slices and serve.
Tips
Ensure the batter is of cake consistency by adjusting the milk as needed for the perfect texture.
