  12. Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  13. 1 tbspSesame Seeds

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

Clean and cut your boneless chicken breast into bite size pieces and salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

Dip chicken pieces into cornstarch and toss pieces to evenly coat in cornstarch, then carefully place 1/3 of the chicken pieces into preheated oil and cook for 5 - 7 minutes until golden, turning once during cooking. Using skimmer, remove fried chicken from oil and transfer to a paper towel lined cookie sheet to drain excess oil.

In a medium mixing bowl combine chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, onion, garlic, ginger. Mix well then add to medium size saucepan or wok at medium heat.

  4. 4

As the sauce mixture begins to heat add 1 1/2 tbsp of Cornstarch to 1 1/2 tbsp of cold water and mix well. Then add to sauce mixture.

  5. 5

Once the sauce mixture begins to thicken add the chicken and sesame seeds then mix well so all the chicken is coated evenly in sauce.

  6. 6

Serve warm over white or brown rice garnished with green onions if desired.
