Ingredients

  1. Honey Sesame Sauce
  2. 1/3 cuphoney
  3. 1 teaspoonapple cider vinegar
  4. 1/2 tablespoonketchup
  5. 1 teaspoonsesame oil
  6. 1 tablespooncornstarch
  7. 1/2 cupwater
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. Frying Batter
  10. 1Egg white
  11. 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  12. 1/4 cupcornstarch
  13. 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
  14. 1/2 cupwater, ice cold
  15. 1 tablespoonoil
  16. Pinchsalts
  17. 300 gramschicken breast, diced

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl, stir well and set aside.

    On a separate bowl, mix egg white, flour, water, cornstarch, baking powder, oil, and salt. Stir until all ingredients turn into smooth batter.

    Using a chopstick or spoon, dip the sliced chicken breast one at a time into the frying batter, and fry them until the colour turns golden brown. Rest the chicken for few minutes after frying.

    On another pan, heat the sauce mixture until it thickens. Once it thickens, pour in all the fried diced breast into the pan. Mix them all until they are fully coated with sauce.

    Serve the chicken on a bowl, you may sprinkle some sesame seeds as decoration.
