#Mar#W1#RiceisNice#Cookpadindia#Puffedrice#murmuraPuffed rice is made for raw rice by roasting in large clay pots, especially in villages. In Odisha we call it ' 'Mudhi '. It can be served with tea, milk , pakoda, ghugni. Murmura is also used to make Ladoos with jaggery/sugar. Tastes delicious and better with jaggery. In Sankranti murmura ladoo is made to offer deities. I made this Ladoos with jaggery, puffed rice and some other ingredients and masala. It's very yummy and loved by most people.** Puffed Rice Laddoo is made in 3:1 ratio to bind and last longer. If 3 times is Murmura, 1 time is jaggery. Dr.Madhumita Mishra -
