Cut the pumpkin to small parts.

Arrange in a sufuria and add 2 cups of water.

Put over medium heat and cover with a lid.

Cook till soft. You can use a fork to poke to see if already cooked.

If still hard allow it to cook more but if soft remove from heat.

Allow to cool
