I was getting tired of getting under-flavored, boring, or just not good guac from the store and HATE paying for special table side guac and being disappointed. This recipe is my solution. HardDog1110 -

Bare bones guac. That’s all you really need in life, 3rd only to air and water. Florida avocados are large, lower in fat, and don’t turn brown nearly as fast as hass avocados do. Also, my tree is loaded down so it’s avocados everyday! I use garlic powder because I like convenience and because I always have it and I get a lot of bang for my taste buck. Fresh is great don’t get me wrong but I prefer powdered in this application. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

This is guacamole done my way. There are many variations of this recipe. I like it blended because I don't care for chunks of raw onion, but I enjoy the flavor an onion adds. I like jalapenos for flavor and some heat. The "heat" will vary depending on the variety of jalapeno, it's maturity, and how it was grown. sandra53
