Ingredients

  1. 16even-sized open cup mushrooms
  2. 3 tbspolive oil, extra virgin
  3. 2garlic cloves, finely chopped
  4. 3 tbspsalted butter, softened
  5. 2 tbspfresh thyme, chopped
  6. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  7. 5 tbspfresh breadcrumbs
  8. 1 1/2 tbsplemon juice
  9. freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400f/200c/gas mark 6.

    Over a medium heat, lightly fry the mushrooms in 2 tbsp of oil.

  3. 3

    Arrange the mushrooms in an ovenproof dish with the stalks facing up, with no overlapping.

  4. 4

    In a small bowl mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice and seasoning.

    Spoon a little garlic butter onto each mushroom.

  6. 6

    Lightly press the breadcrumbs on top of each mushroom.

  7. 7

    Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
