Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchsweet potatoes
  2. 1 cupnutmeg
  3. 1 largebag of sugar
  4. 5big cups of cold water (may need extra cup)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut yams into circles and then into halves then peel

  2. 2

    Rinse off yams and place in deep baking pan

  3. 3

    Pour whole bag of sugar over yams (all yams should be covered in sugar)

  4. 4

    Pour nutmeg over sugar

  5. 5

    Take cups of water and pour in one corner of the pan until yams are covered (do not pour to wash sugar and nutmeg off)

  6. 6

    Cover with foil put in oven to bake for about an hour or till tender stir yams half way thru cooking

  7. 7

    Once done allow to cool and enjoy
