Cheesy Meat Mountain

We had a lot of nacho cheese we needed to get rid of, because it gets hotter the longer it sits in the fridge. It was lunch time, and we were making our typical pita bread sandwiches until this beauty happened. You can customize it in so many different ways, and make it different each time if you wish which we loved.

Ingredients

5 mins
1 serving
  1. 1 sliceFlat bread or Pita bread
  2. 2/3 cupNacho Cheese (we get the big can from Costco)
  3. 1Smoked Sausage (we get the heritage farms, they're basically smoked hotdogs)
  4. 1/2 sliceBlack Forest Ham (From Costco, but any kind works, also add more or less ham per preference)
  5. 1 packagesBacon bits, (real preferred but any kind works)
  6. 1 dashGarlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika (any seasoning really, to your preference)

Cooking Instructions

5 mins
  1. 1

Cut up your smoked sausage in even pieces, enough to cover the whole slice of pita bread.

  2. 2

Place pita bread on a microwave safe plate, and spread evenly with half the nacho cheese. And spread some of the bacon bits.

  3. 3

Evenly spread out smoked sausage over nacho cheese, then cut or rip your slice of Black Forest ham.

  4. 4

Spread the ham out evenly over the smoked sausage, then top with the rest of the nacho cheese and cover with bacon bits.

  5. 5

Sprinkle seasoning of your choice (I used garlic powder) over the top sparingly.

  6. 6

Microwave for 30 seconds to a minute, or until cheese is melted and meat is warmed.
