Ingredients

4 Servings
  • 1/2 kgSpinach
  • 5Tomatoes medium
  • 65 gramsPaneer grated
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 pinchGreen cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoonOil
  • 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 10-12 clovesGarlic
  • 6-7Green chilli
  • 2Onion midium size
  • 1/2 tspGinger
  • 10 gCashew
  • 1 tbspRaisin
  • 4 tablespoonsGram flour (besan)
  • 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  • as neededCoriander powder
  • 1 tspChilli flakes
  • as neededGaram masala
  • 1 pinchLemon yellow food colour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoonsRed chilli powder (deghi mirch)
  • 1/2 cupButter
  • 2 teaspoonsFenugreek leaves (methi) roasted and powdered
  • 3 teaspoonsHoney
  • 8 tablespoonsFresh cream

Steps

  1. 1

    First blanch the palak and boil it for three minutes.drain and refresh it in cold water.

    Let it cool down completely,then add roasted besan and mix well.keep it aside.

  3. 3

    Crumble the paneer,add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies,red chilli flakes salt to taste.mix it well,and make ball of any size.keep them aside.

    Now take the palak mixture on your palm and flatten it little bit place the paneer ball on it and cover it very nicely with spinach mixture.make all koftas like this.

    Deep fry them to get golden brown colour.

  6. 6

    For greavy,. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion tomato ginger garlic, cashews kismish cardmon,untill half cook.switch off the flame and let the mixture completely cool. Then add this mixture into griender to make smooth puree by adding 1/4 cup water.

    Heat butter in a pan add puree and cook it well then add all spises as in ingredients.mix well and cook till oil starts to separate from spices.

    Add cream and water food colour,honey in a greavy and allow it to cook in a midium flame about 5to6 minutes.

    Cut the koftas in halves and put them in greavy, garnish with fresh cherry and serve hot.
