Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupjasmine rice
  2. 4 clovegarlic, minced
  3. 1 tspfresh chives, finely snipped
  4. 1 tspparsley
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. 1 tbspolive oil
  7. 2 tbspbutter
  8. 1 canchicken broth (14.5 oz can or 1 3/4 cups)
  9. 1 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Over high heat, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil. Cover pot with tight fitting lid and reduce heat to low.

    Simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Do not remove lid.

  3. 3

    Remove from heat. Fluff rice with fork, recover and let stand for 5 - 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
