Ingredients

  • 2egg yolks
  • 1 cupsmilk
  • 3/4 cupssifted flour
  • 11/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonssalt
  • 1/2 cupscooked rice
  • 1egg white beaten
  • 1 tablespoonsmelted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift together salt baking powder and flour

  2. 2

    Beat egg yolks

  3. 3

    Stir in milk and flour

  4. 4

    Fold in rice and melted butter and egg whites

  5. 5

    Bake on hot griddle or pan

  6. 6

    Serve with hot syrup
