Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 cupfresh peas
  • 1 cupchopped carrot
  • 1medium size capsicum chopped
  • 1 cupcullyflower chopped
  • 1 cupcabbage chopped
  • 1/2 cupbeans chopped
  • 3medium size boiled potato
  • 1tomato chopped
  • 3-4green chilli chopped
  • 1 cupchopped coriander leaves
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1/2" ginger finely chopped
  • 1pkt unsalted butter
  • Cooking oil
  • Spices: 1/2 tb spn turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbspn red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbspn coriander powder
  • 4 tbspn paav bhaji masala powder
  • Salt as per the taste
  • 2pkt paav (4 servings)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a cooker add all the chopped veggies, peas and 1&1/2 cup of water. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, 2 tb spn (as per the taste). Boil the vegetables.(med flame)

  2. 2

    In a pan took some cooking oil. In hot oil add chopped onion. When it becomes golden in color add 2 tb spn butter and fry for 2 mins. (Med flame)

  3. 3

    In fried onion add chopped tomato and cook it for 2 mins. Add 1 tb spn salt (as per the taste). Mix it well. (Med flame)

  4. 4

    Add paav bhaji masala and mix it well and cook it for 3 mins.(med flame)

  5. 5

    Now add boiled vegetables and cook it for 5 mins. (Med flame)

  6. 6

    Now add boiled potato (mashed) and cook it for 5 mins and mix it well. (Med flame)

  7. 7

    All the vegetable in the pan should be mashed properly. Cook it for 5 mins. Switch off the gas.

  8. 8

    Add chopped coriander leaves. Before serve the bhaaji in bowl add some butter.

  9. 9

    Bake the paav on the tava (flat pan) and apply butter.

    Paav bhaji is ready to eat now. 😊
