Steps

Dissolve sugar and yeast 1/4 cup of water in a large bowl.let stand for 5minutes.

Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups and level with a knife.add 1 cup warm water,flour,salt to yeast mixture.

Stir until a soft dough is formed,turn out onto a floured surface.knead untill smooth and elastic for about 5minutes.

Place dough in a large bowl coated with cooking spray,turning to coat top.

Cover and let rise in warm place(85°)free from drafts,45minutes or untill doubled in size.

Uncover dough and punch dough down.cover and let rise 30minutes.

Roll up tightly,starting with a short edge,pressing firmly to elimate air pockets,pinch seam and ends to seal.

Place roll,seam side down in a pan coated with cooking spray.cut in small sizes and let it rise for 30minutes.

Pre heat oven to 425°.uncover dough,gently bruch with egg.

Bake at 425° for 12minutes.reduce oven temperature to 350°.

Bake untill bread sounds hallow when tapped.remove from pan and enjoy.
