Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat.

Add onions and garlic and cook until translucent.

Add chicken, red bell pepper, and jalapenos and cook until lightly browned.

Add all the spices and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly.

Add beer and chicken stock, stir, and then cover and bring to a boil.

Stir in beans and tomatoes, cover, and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.

Turn heat down to low and simmer for at least 3 hours.
