Ingredients

7 minutes
2 servings
  • 1 cupplain milk
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 2green cardamom pods coarsely pounded
  • 1 piececlove
  • 1/2 inchginger deskined and slightly crushed
  • to tasteSugar/any sugar substitutes
  • 2 Tbplain tea leaves

Steps

7 minutes
  1. 1

    Combine tea leaves, milk and water and bring on a boil in a saucepan over high heat

  2. 2

    Once boiled reduce heat and add sugar, ginger,cardamom and clove

  3. 3

    Stir once with a spoon and let the tea simmer on Low heat for 5-6 minutes

  4. 4

    Strain the tea after taking off heat and serve hot with accompaniments of your choice
