Lauki chane ki dal

Heat butter in a pan.

Add cumin seeds,asafoetida/hing,ginger and bay leaf and fry it.

Add onion and fry till light pink.

Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,ginger garlic paste,garam masala powder and 2 tbsp water.

Add milk little by little and milk bottle gourd / lauki and mix well.

Add chana dal / bengal gram, salt and lauki / bottle gourd in a preesure cooker.

Add 1 cup of water and pressure cook.

After one whistle simmer the gas for 10 mins.

Garnish with coriander leaves
