Traditional Chex Mix

My father always made this between Christmas and New Years. We LOVED it. We believe he went by the original recipe that Chex put out, with maybe a few pluses or minus on some of the ingredients. This will be a living recipe until we get to test it with variations and reach what we believe to be the correct one.

Steps
- 1
Mix the Chex, peanuts and pretzels in a large baking pan.
- 2
Drizzle the sauce over the Chex mix, stopping every so often to turn/mix everything up.
- 3
Place in a 250°F oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- 4
Let cool. The peanuts will come out "soggy", but they will firm back up as it cools.
