I found this recipe on the back of a box of Minute Rice. It makes a large amount of food that stretches.

The pictured batch is made with venison (deer meat) and everyday run of the mill frozen mixed vegetables. I also used instant brown rice instead of white. This recipe is very versatile.

Ingredients

  1. 1 lbBoneless, Skinless Chicken Pieces
  2. 1 tspGarlic, minced
  3. 1 tbspCooking Oil
  4. 1 1/4 cupWater
  5. 1/4 cupSoy Sauce
  6. 1 tbspSugar
  7. 16 ozPackage frozen stir fry vegetables
  8. 2 cupUncooked White Rice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook and stir chicken and garlic in hot oil in large skillet on medium heat for 5 minutes. Cook till chicken is well done.

    Add water, soy sauce, sugar, and vegetables then stir. Bring to a boil.

  3. 3

    Stir in rice and cover. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 mins.
