Dissolve the saffron strands in a 2 tsp milk and keep this aside.

In a bowl add gram flour little water to make a smooth paste whisk thoroughly to ensure that no lumps.

Thick consistency when done keep this aside.

To make the sugar syrup:- Heat water add sugar, cardamom powder on medium flame heat and stir them.

Until all the sugar dissolves, syrup is stringy and thick turn off the heat.

To make the boondis heat oil in a kadhai for deep fry.

Hold a perforated spoon over the pan and pour 2-3 tbsp batter on it.

Stir the boondis till they change colour,take them out of the kadhai and drop them into the sugar syrup.

Sprinkle dry fruits,nuts,fennel seeds, coconut sliced,melon seeds,ghee, saffron milk on it mix well.

Crunchy hot and sweet boondi sheera is now ready to eat.
