Ingredients

20 minutes
9-10 servings
  • 1½ cupBroccoli ( shredded)
  • 1 cupPotato( boiled and mashed)
  • 1/3 teaspoonGinger paste -
  • 2Green chillies ( finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoonGaram masala powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 4 tablespoonbread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoonCoriander leaves ( finely chopped)
  • 3-4 dropslemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil for shallow frying cutlets

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Bring water to boil with a little salt. Add the washed and cleaned broccoli florets. Let it remain in water for 5minutes. Drain the water completely, pat it dry and mince it in a mixer.

    In a bowl, mix together broccoli, boiled and mashed potato, ginger-paste, finely chopped green chilli, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, finely chopped coriander leaves, salt, bread crumbs and lemon juice. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Divide the mixture into equal parts. Form patties from the mixture as shown below. If you are unable to form patties, add more bread crumbs.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets on medium low heat until golden brown on both sides.

  5. 5

    Enjoy hot with tomato ketchup
