  1. 2 tbspOlive Oil
  2. 3-4chicken breast fillets, butterfly cut
  3. to tasteSalt & Pepper
  4. 380 gramsButton Mushrooms
  5. 2 clovesGarlic Crushed
  6. 1 largeonion, chopped
  7. 1/4 cupWhite Wine
  8. 4 tbspDouble Cream
  9. 2 tspwholegrain mustard

    Chicken breast butterfly cut

    In a fry pan, heat up oil and fry chicken breasts both sides for around 6 mins, 3 on each side, add salt & pepper to taste

    Heat oven to 180°C or gas 5 and place chicken on a greased baking tray and cook until done 15-20 minutes.

    Chop in half the mushrooms and add to fry pan use more oil if necessary, add onions too then crushed garlic and mix in, let it fry for 10 minutes.

    Make a well in the middle of mushrooms and pour in the wine. Let it boil on high heat for 5 mins.

    Stir the mushrooms into the middle and mix turn the heat down. Add the mustard grain and mix

    Add the double cream and stir heat on low for 5 minutes.

    When chicken is cooked, place it on serving plates, and spoon the mushroom mix half on and half off the chicken.

    Mix a salad of your choice, add pepper and a little lemon juice. Mix salad and mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise or sour cream with 1 tablespoon of whole mustard grain and just mix and place across the top of the salad. Serve with chicken

Cookpad founder Member Ambassador, Also a Cookaholic.I love this Cookpad Site, Recipes, friends, interesting people and outstanding recipes, and able to see and to taste food from all over the world. i have learned so much more here, spices , herbs and lovely recipes of different cultures. also experimenting mixing different herbs and spices and making my own creations .I have cooked for my family since I was 14yrs, home from school as my Grandmother could no longer cook she was 91yrs, my Dad worked and there was only me so I learned quite quick and have always enjoyed it. I only started experimenting with herbs and spices and items I had never heard of before through joining Cookpad 2014 and I'm still learning new things. It is a passion of mine and I always invite my family around so I can create something new for them to try. my children grew up learning lots from me I have 3 daughters all with their own families and two Sons one who cooks for his family also my youngest son who is still at home with me,he comes up with some lovely meals and ideas so I'm proud of them all. 💜
