An economical and delicious dish. I usually prepare it in advance and then just heat it in the microwave.

In a pan, add a little olive oil and sauté the chopped onion, green peppers, and garlic with a bay leaf and a pinch of salt until softened.

Then add the peeled and crushed or chopped tomatoes, a splash of white wine, and cook until the tomatoes are fried.

Add the hake fillets and cook for a few minutes.
