Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 250 gramsRice
  2. 1Carrot diced
  3. HandfulPeas
  4. 1Tomato chopped
  5. 1Onion chopped
  6. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 2 tablespoonOil
  10. 1 teaspoonJeera
  11. 1 pinchHing
  12. 2 tablespoonGhee
  13. 1 tablespoonCoriander leaves chopped
  14. 1 teaspoonGaram masala
  15. 1 teaspoonGinger garlic paste
  16. 2Bay leaf

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak rice for 15 mjnutes

  2. 2

    Discard water and keep aside

  3. 3

    In a cooker Add oil

  4. 4

    Add jeera hing and bay leaf

  5. 5

    Add chopped onion

  6. 6

    Add chopped tomato

  7. 7

    Add ginger garlic paste

  8. 8

    Add green chilli paste

  9. 9

    Add the veggies and saute a bit

  10. 10

    Add turmeric powder

  11. 11

    Add rice and salt garam masala and red chilli powder

  12. 12

    Saute till each grain gets coated with oil

  13. 13

    Add around double quantity of water

  14. 14

    Cook for two whistles

  15. 15

    Cool down cooker

  16. 16

    Add the ghee over top

  17. 17

    Serve with any raita
